Ideal for hauling groceries and winch

Order another product which is similar but the shaft of the other product was too short to activate the lock. This was just the right length.

Inexpensive solution.

If they want to steal, they do it. Castles are just visual diturants. looks cool Not really. At this price you can't complain. This is number 2 that I ordered. I would like the lock body to be something other than aluminum. Fit and function are right.

It works and that's all I asked for.

It's easy to remove with a saw, but so is your tire. HAHAHAHA! It's actually a wise purchase if you want to retain ownership of your towbar. Here today, tomorrow without him. I'm happy with that.

Super easy to install.

Remove the cover, insert the key, remove the end and pull out the key. Reattach the rubber cover. When you're ready to insert the coupling head into the receiver, I just push the end of the pin and it snaps back into place. I had similar locks, had to fumble with the key to relock. Have used it several times and always feels smooth when unlocked, no rattling feeling.

will yours hold up

This clutch pin has been on my truck around town for months with no problems, but today I took my F250 to some Forest Service roads in Lake Tahoe, California and this locked clutch pin did the trick not hold up rumbled and at some point during my 35 mile ride it unlocked and fell out so I lost my hitch somewhere along the way. If you're just using it to prevent your hitch from being stolen around town it works great, but if you get off the pavement it dies with your hitch :(

Great for re-blocking!

I still have a locking pin and it takes you three hands to lock it again because you have to somehow turn the key (it's a round lock, not a square one like this one), hold the clutch pin, and then push the latch back. It is great; Once it's unlocked you can put your key in your pocket and when it's time to lock it again it snaps back onto the clutch pin. Very well done; excellent lock and assembly. Also, the dirt cap to protect the keyhole is better made and stays in place. (With another brand,

Couldn't unlock on 3rd use had to cut my truck down

Looked just like the brand names, worked fine the first 2 times then tried 3rd time taking it off to close the truck driving through the sink, the key turned normally, but the lock seemed to be welded to the pin. Normally the obturator rotates freely on the pin, but this is completely stuck, hasn't come loose and didn't rotate at all. I even tried turning it with the 18" pins on the lock and pin but couldn't move it. The biggest disappointment was that it had to be cut off and not a small…
