works good for privacy

It's a privacy screen but it lets light through. It was easy to use and works well. We put it on the window at the top of our front door so people entering the house wouldn't tiptoe down the hall, but not anymore because you can't see through it. We also applied it to the windows at the top of the garage doors to block out sun glare, but that didn't quite work as the film lets in too much sunlight for that.

Not very nice to install but nice to have.

in the end I like it and I'm glad I got it. It's not as pretty as I thought. Looks like plastic and a bit cheap. But it does the job. It provides privacy and hides water stains on our glass shower. Installing wasn't fun. I hope I never have to do that again. It was particularly difficult in the grip area. And no matter how hard I try, I can still see the lines where the pieces touch. But then again I'm glad I have it and I think it looks better than regular frosted glass.

Very easy to install

Super easy to install, if you can install shelf paper, you can install them. I have a large window above my door that lets in too much sun and it works GREAT! It allows brightness but not direct sunlight. You CANNOT see through this pattern. They can vaguely distinguish shapes. I have used it on my door windows as I hate when people look in when they knock. That works great. It is peel and stick. So if you put Windex on the window as you apply, you can peel and stick as long as you like and…

so perfect best in window film

We recently moved into a two story house. There is a lovely large window at the front door that ends at eye level with the kitchen floor. We didn't like that we didn't have privacy, people at the front door could see us before we saw them. The window height is only 18 inches, which is too small for a 36-inch screen and too tall for the 14-inch screen that all the stores here carry. it, and I didn't want to drill a cornice into a brand new front door. I decided to use this and it looks great…

The good design of the window stickers & foils

I liked the design (sliver) so I bought this window film. It has a sticky adhesive backing, so it's not as easy to install as the "sticky" ones you can move around when the glass is sprayed with soapy water, but it can still be adjusted by lifting it up a few times to bring him to a straight line. It can also get air bubbles which is more difficult to remove than the sticky variety due to the adhesive backing. but what i did was poke a hole in the area of the blister and let the air out…

Looks like a million bucks

Who knew taillight film would look this good? The side windows in the door of the house we just bought were incredibly scratched. Also, anyone who came to the front door could look in and see us. Bad thing. This film takes care of both problems and looks great. Very satisfied. If you plan to use it, make sure you have all your tools and a water spray bottle within easy reach. Also, all it took to squeeze out the water was an old plastic credit card-like device. It seemed like it would be overly

Privacy with virtually no loss of light.

This is a good privacy screen option that doesn't block natural light. I had a small 18" x 18" window on my front door that I wanted some privacy in, and it worked really well. It sticks to glass very easily and if you change your mind you can easily peel it off. 2 years later I found a 90% unused roll of this and decided to apply it to my laundry window this morning. I don't know why I didn't do this two years ago! 2 panes of glass, each about 1ft by 2ft, and it went on decently. There's quite

Hazy film when applied.

I bought 2 of these window films and they are terrible. I put them on this morning, following the instructions to the letter and once they were lifted, a cloudy film sporadically spread during treatment. I washed the window with Zep Window Cleaner and was 100% confident that the surface was perfectly clean and dry enough for the window to shine in the sun. I sprayed water on the window as instructed and with the help of another person applied the film, removing the backing paper while the film…
