I bought 2 of these window films and they are terrible. I put them on this morning, following the instructions to the letter and once they were lifted, a cloudy film sporadically spread during treatment. I washed the window with Zep Window Cleaner and was 100% confident that the surface was perfectly clean and dry enough for the window to shine in the sun. I sprayed water on the window as instructed and with the help of another person applied the film, removing the backing paper while the film was being applied. Almost immediately I saw the appearance of clouds. There were no bubbles as the film felt smooth. I thought maybe I should let it dry a bit and it will be fine. A few hours later it got worse. Frustrated, I took it off to see if it was my window and applied some of the processing to another window and you could see the same muddy images. So I took it off and looked at the back (the side facing the window) and the cloudy film seems to be a sticky residue which I assume belongs to the product or paper. I went to Home Depot to ask them if they've ever heard of anything like this and they haven't. Most likely it was the quality of the goods or defective goods. Anyway, I ran out of money I paid for them and bought curtains for the time being, which I didn't want to do. 100% not satisfied at all. For the record, this is my first post as I've never had a reason to post. Too bad it was a bad experience. I had to take a picture before taking it off to post this comment.
