One of the worst routers I've ever had the misfortune to use.

I had a D-Link router a few years ago, so I decided on this model after my Asus router won the return had given up the ghost. What mistake! The configuration menu is aimed at the average consumer with a smooth brain and doesn't have the advanced features that older routers had. Also, I woke up from time to time (about 3-4 times while owning this product) to the router not responding at all. I literally had to go down and reboot the device before it started working again. Look Elsewhere - Router

This router has a very poor signal range. Signal strength dropped nearly 50% around a corner about 12 feet away. The router that this heap was meant to replace still has 100% signal strength in the same area. Makes this device pointless as a replacement. The application used to manage this router is not the most convenient for setting up or managing your network. Last but not least. the power cord to the router is weird. Not my first choice

I would not recommend buying this router. This was the first D-Link product I have purchased and will be my last. The product itself was very easy to set up, which should bother me more. Anything this easy to set up is likely to have other problems. Cell phones, game consoles, and smart TVs keep turning on and off, even 5 feet away from the router. It slows down significantly compared to the cheaper tplink I replaced it with. As you can probably imagine, unless your product is sending any…

Out of Town Reset in Networking Products

I bought this in October 2019 for my Florida residence. Comcast no longer exists, it's a local Blue Stream company. It was installed with a Motorola 3.1 modem. I have 2 cameras connected to it, a high beam and a Tivo. When I left in November 2019 everything was working. Returned to Florida in January 2020.
