Total Disappointment: Flaky Adapter

I purchased an adapter for my computer in hopes of improving its performance, but it has only caused me headaches .Based on my experience, this product is unreliable and causes frequent connectivity issues. while it was easy to install the upsides stop there. The only positive thing I can say is that it is relatively affordable, but you get what you pay for in this case. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a stable networking solution for their computers..

Pros
  • Easy to install and use.
Cons
  • Higher price compared to similar products in the market.

Severely Disappointing Managed Adapter

This Managed Adapter was a complete waste of my time and money. When I tried this product on my computer, it caused multiple issues, including frequent system crashes, limited connectivity, and overall poor performance .The only positive aspect was that it was easy to install. However, this minor benefit did not outweigh the cons. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product to anyone. Computers deserve better than the frustrations caused by this adapter..

Pros
  • Easy to manage and configure
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Actually NOT IEEE 802.3x compliant!

Contrary to what the product documentation says before and after sale, 802.3x flow control is NOT implemented in this product - at least not in the included Win2K driver software. The driver software on the D-Link website is even older than the one on the CD. During auto-negotiation, this product informs its link partner that it does NOT have 802.3x flow control capabilities. Nowhere in the Win2K driver settings is there a place to enable this feature. This is a big disappointment as this…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good, but not great
