You Really Need One

If you often cut straight, this is for you. In combination with the rotary cutter you save at least 50% of your cutting time. If it weren't for timing a huge project, cutting on this rug would have made it easier to complete. A smaller size probably could have been used, but in the end I was glad I got the 34" x 24" size and now the resolution covers my canvas and doesn't curl. Don't limit your thinking to the fact that this is only for cutting fabric and works great with an Xacto knife. Read…

GOOD QUALITY CUTTING MATS

As a professional seamstress/upholsterer, I use my cutting tools on a daily basis. Since I'm working with large pieces of fabric, I glue 2 boards together into 1 large board, but can still detach them if I don't need a large area. I just received my 2 new cutting boards. I used to use a 12" x 18" cutting mat in my shop but a week ago I can't find it in my life.
