This mug is exactly the size needed for the Zojirushi Micom 5.5 cup rice cooker. Except that it's metal, not plastic, and is half the price of a Zojirushi-branded replacement cup. Excellent purchase. This product is made in Japan and comes with packaging written entirely in Japanese.

I bought a Zojirushi rice cooker at a thrift store, but it didn't have a rice bowl. I was about to pay $5-7 for a plastic replacement when I found a steel one. The steel isn't very thick, but it doesn't have to be. It's fairly durable and the measurements are accurate. I'm so glad I didn't have to undergo plastic surgery.

I got so frustrated when I couldn't find my rice cooker mug because I think getting the rice to water ratio right makes a huge difference in the finished rice. When I came across this mug I was hoping it would fit. That's great. I also like that it's not plastic - durable. I use it often and it goes in the dishwasher. Great replacement - would recommend.

It's nice to have a dishwasher safe Go mug, not because it gets that dirty, but because it's nice to just throw it in and not hand wash it several times a year. It also has milliliter markings so you can use it as a ml measuring cup. For people who don't like plastic, this is a good replacement for the cups that come with most Japanese rice cookers.

This is a great replacement for the flimsy plastic cups that come with most rice cookers. I ordered one, not sure if the size would be the same as the markings make it bulkier, but it is the same size as the cuchen rice cookers as well as most others. I have now ordered a second one. The construction is quite solid, which is to be expected from an aluminum cup. If you have a rice cooker and use it often, I highly recommend it.
