Bought these to protect against one of the most common winter sports injuries. Wrist injuries. I love it when Dakine goes without surf gear and gear and why not use the snow skirts? Update: Worn twice snowboarding. I chose to wear them without pads as it was too difficult to put on a mitten with pads and suspenders. The suspenders are very tight, but not too tight when you put them on. Love them and don't even notice them while driving. I tried several times to ride without them but regretted it when I crashed. I no longer drive without it and am trying to persuade my husband to buy it. I keep them in the inner mesh pocket of my coat when I'm not riding. Haven't tested…
