Triangle shaft to prevent spinning in a chuck;. Used on electric hand drills;. Industrial grade heat treated steel for strength and durability;. Maximum RPM 10,000.
The metal of the core drill adapter is too soft. The bit adapter twisted and bent when the bit got stuck while drilling. Luckily I was able to finish the job by straightening the chisel with a hammer and it wobbled just a little as I drilled. It's a shame that the adapter bends so easily.
Uses this adapter for 3/4" diamond drill bit - wet drilling at very low speed <900 rpm. Didn't last at all. The first time the drill "got stuck" on the hole, the mandrel bent during drilling and the drill slipped off the axis. That was it because the holes had to be within tolerance. No play caused by the deviation of the chisel from the axis must be allowed.
I took a chance despite other bad reviews. I just had to drill a hole in the cinder block wall. The shaft bent as soon as the nozzle teeth caught slightly. Without being able to straighten it, the adapter became unusable in the workplace. I tried smoothing it out. But without being able to pinpoint the accuracy, I'm afraid it won't work very well. Not sure why it even meets the recommendations given a concrete crown I bought at the same time. This adapter can work well when you drill wood. But…
