Dan Post Boys Rascal Square Toe Boots - Mid Calf - Brown - Size 10 D for Kids Review

My daughter wore these boots 1 hour a week during her riding lessons. (And she didn't even go every week). Last week she went to camp all day (8 hours) and came home with a toe ripped out of the bottom of her boot! Literally wear 20 hours and they fall apart. I bought these gorgeous genuine leather boots and sized them to wear for at least a year and she has worn more of her boots from Walmart. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

These boots fit my son very well and he has been wearing them every day for the past 45 days. They shouldn't be worn, and they aren't actually worn, except that the glue they use to attach the leather to the sole has chipped off and the boots are falling apart. I have sent an email to Dan Post asking for a warranty/replacement but have had no response from them (2 weeks has passed). In my opinion they are not worth the price paid and I would return them if I could. Dan Post should be ashamed to

Defect straight out of the box. Brand new but there is a hole inside at the top. It's funny when you pay $60 for boots with a hole in them. Clearly poorly made and they are willing to sell defective goods at full price. Absurd!

We gave it to my 8 year old daughter for her birthday. They are exactly what we expected and my daughter loves them. She wanted to be a cowgirl and that completed her look.

They are quite cute but not as purple as in the picture which was a little disappointing as I bought them for my granddaughter for Christmas. The quality seems normal but I haven't worn them yet, let's see how they hold up.

I thought I'd finally found a shoe that could withstand the rigors of boyish play. The upper wore well but after less than a year of wear the sole came off. I was able to glue it back on but for the price I was expecting the sole to be sewn on during manufacture and not glued on.

Very good quality, we are nice albeit picky about shoes for our kids. I want real leather, not faux leather, thanks. They fit and hold up well, our daughter loves them and we will probably buy another pair for one of our daughters as she continues to borrow her sister's clothes.

These are really good boots! The quality is much better than I expected for the price. Kids are so rough in boots but I think they will last a long time. They have great soles and look like cowboy boots. I would recommend buying them.

We bought them for one of our grandchildren and they are really very cute, she just loves them and it's very difficult to get them to take them off.

They are for my 6yr. She has "picky feet". No complaints in 2 months! She gets so many compliments because they are of very good quality.

The boots fit a little larger than what he normally wears as they are not half the size but he loves them it just means they last longer!

I have never seen anything like this, the description says the size is correct which is not true at all, my daughter is 6.5 so I ordered her 6, were they too big? My oldest daughter is 7.5 and they fit her!? And my mom is 8.5 and they fit her! Strange boot from all sides, very cute, nice color and good material.

Maggie my granddaughter loves her! They are real leather at a great price. We made them slightly larger so she can wear them unfolded. But they are true to size.

Bought these for our 5 year old granddaughter who is interested in horses and competes in horseback riding. she loves them The colors are great and they seem to be holding up. Her mother likes them and she knows the boots.

My 5 year old loves his boots! Bought a few months ago and always worn. They have held up quite well except for some decorative stitching on the outside. Costs money.

I got these boots for my son for his birthday in December. I ordered them a half size up but they were almost too big. He ended up wearing them recently because they fit better and broke his heel the first time he wore them to school. Checking the rest of the sole, the glue isn't very strong and the toe is also starting to come off. Very disappointed as these boots look very nice but are quite cheaply made.

I bought the big children 3.5 which should correspond to 21.9 cm. They measure 23.5 cm in the boot! I sent them to me from the country for a lot of money just for that to happen... Disappointing.
