This is lappa. - Athletic

Comfortable foot. Not an arch support, it's a paw. It's comfortable on the toes, fairly standard, and used everywhere. They are soft and flexible. I pretreat them and then machine wash them on the gentle cycle.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Safety

Very Very Tight: Athletic

They are so tight I almost couldn't put them on and the pad that should be under the ball of my foot is actually under the crook of my toes. It's very uncomfortable. I will try to wear them more often as the instructions say it takes a few hours to break in. I will not buy again. I want them to work.

The quality is good, but my fingers are crooked and overlap

Goods return tomorrow. Quality is good but my toes are crooked and overlapping making it difficult to get my fingers in each "toe hole". If you have nice straight toes then a good choice for you! For a product that only requires the insertion of the big toe, you have to start over.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Volume

They don't do their job

I bought them for contra dancing because I like to dance barefoot, but when I turn, I get blisters on the balls of my feet. I don't know if I'm a size too big or a size too small, or they just weren't designed for the type of twist I'm making, but it can only take me about 5 minutes to get everything glued together. around the toes, leaving the balls of the feet open to the ground and the most crumpled fabric. I need to try again with a different brand or type of shoe. These just don't work for

  • High-quality workmanship

  • So far, so good

They are great for belly dancing.

I use them for belly dancing, both for practice and for performing. On hardwood floors, they make my turns go very smoothly without my ball sticking to the floor like it sometimes does. I bought these to replace my previous dance paws which are adjustable. They still work well but the velcro is wearing out a bit so they sometimes come loose. Also, it's been over 4 years (yes they last that long if used a few times a week) so I thought it was time to replace them and this time I decided not to…

I cut out the fingers the way I want as instructed

I cut out the fingers the way I want as instructed. However, the existing holes are too close together and I ended up cutting each one two different ways to determine how I should do each. One way (1 thumb hole and 1 hole for the other 4 fingers) is comfortable, but if you point your toes the pad will collapse. The other way (1 big toe hole, 2 other holes with 2 toes each) was squeezing my toes into awkward positions AND the lining would fold. I think if you have this you should have narrow…

Works very well but MUST BE PREPARED with scissors!

These took me about three months of training before the seam between the upper and lower part at the top unraveled. I plan to sew back. The rest of the rubber is holding up well. I hand wash them after every class or two. Be sure to pin (and wipe) the toe holes to match your toes! Some reviewers complain that the toe holes are too narrow, but this design is meant to be adjusted by the user with scissors. Capezio's FootUnDeez appears to be more durable than these and requires no tuning. But the…
