I'm glad I found a link to Danko. I looked locally for this item and no one had it. It was easy to install and works great. I saved a lot of money finding and installing it myself instead of hiring a plumber.

Perfect replacement just be aware if you buy a Lasco handle it comes with the wrong screw for it needs 10-32 and the handle is too tight use a dremel to lightly grind the brass so as not to break the pen or cartridge.

Rundle all-in-one shower fittings fell by the wayside twenty years ago, but this Danco shower cartridge is an exact replacement for the original UR-1 cartridge. A Phillips screwdriver and some o-ring lubricant is all you need to replace an old leaking cartridge. I keep some of them in reserve because I believe that sooner or later the demand for them will be low and their production will stop. When I can no longer get them, I have to replace the faucet with a more expensive one.
