Better than expected

Worked great, it rained the next day before I had time to get dirty, no damage. Very easy to sand before painting. Highly recommend, don't know why some had trouble getting the filler wet.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some errors

Cheap plastic container breaks easily

Another great DAP product. It dries quickly and sands easily, but the packaging is cheap. The main container is easily ruptured when closing the lid, allowing air to enter the product. I had to use a zip lock food container to seal the product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some cons

Works as promised: Hardware

Plastic wood is much more difficult to work with than joint sealant, but it's also more durable and usually works better when combined with natural wood. He filled holes and helped me rejuvenate an old and dilapidated window sill. Can I drive a nail in there? I do not know. I didn't try. Have bought before and will buy again.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Reliability

Wish it came in white!

Great product, only criticism is I would like to see these large tubs in WHITE. I can only find them in tubes, and I prefer to just take a ball-sized ball from the container, roll into a ball and apply quickly. It is very easy to work with, after 10 minutes you can go back to it with a damp cloth and wipe off the excess OR just hit it with a 220 grit sand sponge for 2 seconds and it will be smooth.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • High price

Container half full or half empty.

Goods receipt. Bought two of these. When I opened the first container it was half full/half empty. I assume this is due to the settlement. But when I look at a product online, I expect it to be complete. Now I don't have a scale to weigh it to see if it's the exact weight. Expected it to be, but still, why would it happen? I prefer a full container.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Obsolete

Do not use on external flat surfaces such as decks.

I used them on a wooden deck to fill in a few nail holes, let dry and sanded. Painted solid Behr paint, and after 48 hours it started raining. The plastic wood has blistered and is now soft. I'll have to sand down all the plastic wood. Do not buy this material for outdoor use as it is complete rubbish. Next time I'll listen to the bad reviews so I don't end up in this situation again.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

This is a good product but you never get wet.

Used to patch a hole in the floor, level the missing wood and reattach the tile. However, if it gets wet, it will return to its original wet state. It didn't stay difficult. You can't use it where it EVER gets wet again. So if you plan to use it dry, I mean dry, you can't use it where it will get wet. If you use this on areas that stay dry, it works great! Otherwise avoid it, it can't get wet!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Don't Remind Me

It doesn't work!: Wood filler

This product was purchased for use on a new patio under construction. Don't get up! The product claims it doesn't shrink when used as a filler and IT WORKS and it says it can be colored and IT WAS NOT! My husband is very disappointed as he patched holes and crevices and then had to do it all over again due to the item shrinking. Now that the deck is nearing completion all the areas where this product has been applied are unpainted and do not match. Extremely disappointed with this product.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
