Darice Easel Exceeded Expectations

I bought this easel to display a 12" x 16" decorative plate. I especially wanted something that wouldn't tip over under the weight of the record. This easel exceeded all my expectations. The wide base and high back provide a secure grip on the panel, while the easel's rear "leg" ensures the panel does not tip backwards. The easel's gold color is attractive and it's a solid piece of metal.

Pros
  • Features decorative swirls and gold paint.
Cons
  • High Price

It came exactly like the picture and had a nice gold finish. I thought the size was more than enough to show off my plate. However, the two prongs holding the plate in place are fairly close to the base. I had a cake stand with a curved edge so it wouldn't fit on the easel. The panels must be level. I was disappointed because it is a cute holder. I returned it and my money was refunded.

Pros
  • Packed of 1
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

A piece of junk. Do not worry.

Comes with a free rear leg bent in an L-shape and a spiral on the leg twisted to the left. I needed it for work and didn't have time to replace it so I had to use a vise to straighten my leg. It's clearly painted with cheap spray paint and very poorly assembled. I also have reservations about leaving the painting on the stand for fear of falling, also because the back leg is not secured. I'll have to add some rubber leg pads if we decide to use this piece of junk again.

Pros
  • Ideal for displaying frames, photos, art and more.
Cons
  • socket required.
