Not the thickest welding mask I've seen but offers adequate protection. Outstanding overall craftsmanship. There is a lot of space in the cabin, there is no claustrophobia. Easy cleaning. The eye protection is clearly visible but protects the eyes very well. Getting in and out is no problem.

My husband needed a welder's hat so I got him a birthday surprise. He's just a novice welder and this helmet should help him a lot. It's lightweight and appears to be very well made. The headband looks well padded and is adjustable.

This is a very good welding hammer! I have 2 other villages to compare that are more expensive than this one and one of them has even more and even a panoramic window BUT I'm still only using this new one now 😉. Even though it has a smaller window than I had before, objects are more visible when welding with this hamlet, also the new hamlet is more compact. This village is worth the money, I recommend it.

The only thing I don't like is the headband, could be more comfortable. Everything else is fine, the real problem with this mask is how flexible it is, some people might prefer a rigid one and some like its flexibility. This is for everyday use, not heavy professional use, but it's ok for my needs. I only do light projects/repairs around the property. I am happy with this mask and it works great for me.

This is not a $500+ helmet but rather a good entry-level helmet for beginners to learn to weld. The automatic darkening works perfectly and does what it is supposed to do.
