A must for hikers

These are the best hiking socks you can find. For peace of mind, you can't beat the warranty. I have used 2 pairs to hike the Appalachian Trail and am very happy with them!

Pros
  • Micro Crew Height is a shorter and more concise take on the traditional Crew Height. Peeks just above the top of a standard hiking boot.
Cons
  • Can't remember

Disappointing Outerwear Socks

The order came on time. I expected the socks to be thinner and cooler for summer hiking, but the sock is bulkier and very warm. I don't care about the construction either, the sock design has a lot of threads that get caught in the toes when you put them on.

Pros
  • Composition: Knit: 42% Coolmax Polyester, 42% Nylon, 14% Acrylic, 2% Lycra and Spandex. COOLMAX is formulated to wick moisture away from the skin and dry quickly in warm weather.
Cons
  • There are defects

Luv luv luv - Socks

As always, I'm happy with my damn hard socks. I still have my original pair from about 8 years ago. They get skinny in the heels but I wear socks year round so they have a lot of miles in them. This is a good weight for warm weather hiking. I have not yet tested them for foot comfort when hiking. But I'm pretty sure they will work just fine. Darn Tough is the only brand I wear. Expensive? Yes. Its worth it? Yes.

Pros
  • Made in the USA - Every pair of socks is knitted in Northfield, Vermont, the perfect proving ground for the finest premium all-weather socks.
Cons
  • Not sure
