Best damn socks I've ever had!

These are definitely the best socks I have ever owned. Worth every penny I paid. I had planned a 5 week trip to Europe and wanted to pack as light as possible. I reviewed several sock brands before settling on Darn Tough. Probably the best decision I made on the whole trip. I wore them 4-5 days in a row (usually until I found a washing machine) and until the last day it seemed to me that I wasn't wearing them at all. Even after 4-5 days it never smelled. I'm a believer!

Pros
  • Preparing for a big hike can be dizzying. Durable, extremely comfortable, The Heady Stripe will always be in your backpack.
Cons
  • Dear

My absolute favorite socks!

Comfort is always high on my list of priorities when it comes to socks, and I'm an avid sock collector/connoisseur/critic (it's my favorite piece of clothing!). Darn Tough Socks are the most comfortable socks that have ever hugged my feet. They also live up to their name because they are very durable. I don't have to worry about them falling apart (although I often wear barefoot socks everywhere, including outside) and they don't seem to wear out at all! I'm a huge fan.

Pros
  • Made in USA. Every pair of socks is knitted in Northfield, Vermont, the perfect proving ground for the finest premium all-weather socks.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions

Best Athletic Socks Ever

I'm a big fan of the micro crew style. Now I have three pairs. I also have a slightly heavier pair, but I prefer lighter ones. Great for real life activities like hiking or running but honestly I wear them every day too. If any of my Darn Tough socks are in the drawer, I don't even think about putting on anything else. Close-fitting to the body, not clumping, but at the same time appearing weightless. And the pairs I've had for 4+ years may have 2 pills on the seams and otherwise look pristine.

Pros
  • Composition: Jersey, 48% Merino Wool, 45% Nylon, 7% Lycra and Spandex. Fast wicking moves moisture away from the skin so the socks no longer sweat or smell. Soft, breathable merino wool dries quickly and is suitable for all weather conditions, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.
Cons
  • Negative gift

Best Socks on Planet Earth

These are the best socks I have ever worn. They are super comfy. They keep your feet warm on cool days and keep you cool on hot days. They are ethically made in the USA. You have a lifetime guarantee! Theoretically you can buy a pair or two of these socks and wear a pair or two for the rest of your life because if they ever fail they will be replaced free of charge. Before. They were good, but they're as close to sock-shaped perfection as humankind can get. They can be worn with anything and…

I've already ordered more.

Darn Tough socks were recommended to me by my father. I work on my feet all day and regular socks leave my feet sweaty, smelly and chafed. That's how I learned to use merino wool a long time ago. I used to wear Keen socks and had a lot of experience with them, but after about two years they started getting holes all in the same place. Keen advertises their socks with a "lifetime guarantee," but I soon found it difficult to get them to honor it. So I'm glad Darn Tough offers a lifetime…

BEST SOCKS on Active

I bought these socks on my cousin's recommendation. After the first day of wearing, I texted him that these are now the only socks I will have. high price? Of course - the price can be intimidating. But do you know what's more expensive than these socks? The fact that your regular socks that you want to keep wearing make you uncomfortable throughout the day, making the running times seem much longer than they should be and you come home exhausted simply because of the lack of quality . . .But…
