The top is not very big, but the same size as all the other socks.

I've been looking for socks that don't cut off blood circulation in the calves because the top of the sock is too tight. I ordered them in a very large size hoping they would suffice. Unfortunately, while the bottom of the sock is very large, the top is the same size as all other sizes, whether they are medium, large, or extra large. So I can't wear them because like all other socks they are too tight on the calf. Does anyone know of a sock that doesn't compress the calf until it leaves an…

Great product and customer support

I work in law enforcement and have to wear dark socks 6-7 days a week. The color of my cotton socks is running down my legs and they are all fluffy. These socks are comfortable and I don't have any of the negative issues I've had with cotton socks. They also absorb moisture very well. They're more expensive than regular socks, but they come with a lifetime guarantee, no questions asked, so I think it makes up for it. I've bought a few more pairs in different colors when I'm not at work. Darn…

Simply the best for camping

I can't say enough good things about Darn Tough Socks. They feel so comfortable that other socks feel like burlap around my feet. They never smell, even when I wear them in smelly shoes (what black magic does that do?!), and day two is just as comfortable and odorless (sometimes you only have to wear socks twice without washing them). My foot size is 12W and the large size is perfect for her. I bought my first pair of these socks over two years ago and after wearing them about 250 times…

Darn Tough Socks Day 1 Review - Recommended!

These socks are made from 63% Merino wool, 33% Nylon and 4% Lycra® Spandex (according to the Darn Tough product page). The socks feel like thin slippers for each foot. I was expecting them to be a little thicker, but after a few hours of wearing it didn't bother me at all. I was pleased with the overall comfort they offered and am glad they are thick or thin as they are. brand) socks. I wear size 12 shoes and ordered oversized socks. They fit perfectly; not tight and certainly not loose so as…

Darn Satisfied for Outdoor Recreation

In October 2014 I bought my first pair of Darn Tough socks for work (road construction). I liked them so much I revamped my sock wardrobe as I had bought enough pairs by mid 2015 so I only wear these now. All 14 pairs fit and feel great, wash well and, without special care, maintain their durability with minimal shrinkage and no pilling. I just toss them in the washer and dryer along with everything else and they're ready to go. I also bought a pair of thinner Darn Tough Short socks last year…
