Dastool Universal Shroud Grinders Dt1902 180 Review

My grinding wheel was unscrewed and was held in place by lock washers. It didn't work because the washer was under the brushes. I had to buy a deeper profile and threaded washer so I could screw the washer into the shaft. The clasp is useless and I simply tightened the dust cover with a socket wrench. The instructions are barely acceptable, and the pictures in the instructions kinda suck. It's cheap to build, but considering the price, it will live up to the price.

Why anyone would complain about a dust cover that does what it's supposed to do for less than $30 baffles me. Anyone who expects a shroud with a big name pays a high price. Perhaps for several projects a year, this is ideal! A small adjustment to the universal rings and mounts and you're done. That paid off after the first 15 minutes.
