This lamp puts out a lot of very bright light over a large area. It also has multiple brightness levels that can be changed with a light touch. Easy to assemble. The lamp can be twisted and bent, which makes it very convenient to use. I am very happy that I bought it. In addition, it arrived quickly.

I love the lighting on this lantern. I wish it was a little more flexible. It only has two living hinges. I knew this when I ordered it, but having used it for a while now, I wish it was expressed more. It stays on the table, but wobbles a little at the top of the table. Not enough to cause a problem.

Very good lighting - accurate colors for artwork, good brightness levels, extremely smooth. 4 stars instead of 5 just because I would like my artboard to have a little more flexibility in bending and positioning the light. Although there are no complaints. I hope the LEDs last as long as expected as they are not replaceable/maintenance free.

I love my lamp! I am a nail designer and I work with many clients all day, your eyesight can get a little tiring due to eye strain, but with this lamp I feel like I am working in daylight and there will never be eye fatigue again. It has different brightness settings, which is a plus for this lamp. I find this very handy as you can control the brightness depending on the area you are working on.

This is way better than I thought. It was so easy to install on my desk. Such a perfect bright light for work. I was concerned that the light was so close to my face that the light might bother me. But it fits so perfectly into the case that it doesn't shine in my eyes, only in the work surface. Now I'm replacing all the other lamps with these. The bracket is long enough not to get in the way when attaching it to my desk.

This light is AMAZING in the light it puts out for sewing (or other light intensive work); it completely illuminates the work area with 4 adjustable light levels. If you are old and have tired eyes that need more light, look no further than this light - you will not be disappointed. Yes, it is expensive and costs more than other flashlights; but you always get what you pay for! This light is the BEST. Buy it, try it, you will be left, you will also sing praises like we are now.

UPDATE. I was still curious, so I contacted Daylight. Although it comes in two pieces, it was not designed to be taken apart on a regular basis. But that doesn't change my opinion of the lamp. I still like it! I have had the 1st generation Daylight Slimline (incandescent) for many years. Since it is an incandescent lamp, the 1st generation gets very hot. I use this lamp exclusively for embroidery (almost always in my Lowery floor stand; sometimes with a table stand) so I lean very close to it…
