I don't think they should be used for stock height. Remember that they are taller than standard bumpers. So if you have stock suspension, you're likely to hit those bumpers on normal road bumps. I have 2.5" risers on my Cherokee and they fit me.

Perfect fit, on the new Gabriel Ultra shock absorbers, the multi-stage design offers more controlled resistance when overcoming braking bumps. The design is better than the original which lasted 25 years. You will probably outlive me. acceptable price. 10 minutes of work on my XJ since I didn't even have to lift it.

fenders of good quality. Good choice if you need a little more length. I want to say they are perfect but the notch at the end folds very easily and cannot be considered full length. You may need to add more below to compensate.

I'm sure they've gotten longer but not by a ton. I'm using a 29" tire on my XJ with a 2" rise and it's not good enough. I'll have to add some sort of shim to lower it enough to actually help the wider wheels. I'm okay with that because it will be very easy and they are a great stop no matter what. I would buy them again

Daystar makes good stuff! As usual I was not disappointed and they came installed straight from the factory with factory equipment. They're so common in polyester that hitting this bumper is sharper, but not so with the ends cut off - it makes it easier to hit. Important note: These are extended fenders! YOU ARE 4 INCHES TALL!
