Loud knocking and side roll stopped

Great product I ordered this bushing kit for my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4 2 door and it was installed by a professional mechanic. All of my bushings were rotten and that stopped the body rapping and rolling on my truck, the dealership charged $800 for a bushing kit from Ford, buy this kit, the quality is great and you'll save about $670. I highly recommend it.

  • Finally bought

Knock determinedly!

I installed this on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport to replace rotted missing bushings that made a loud bang every time you hit bumps. You'll have to use old screws and a threaded bottom plate, but you can loosen them with a flashlight. They are not exact replicas of existing sockets, but work the same way. Now I don't knock anymore and the cabin is much quieter. I should have done this sooner!

The smoothness is back!

I bought these for my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. The original body mounts were rusted and worn. I felt every bump and heard every shake. I couldn't find a replacement anywhere. Thanks to Revain I not only found a replacement, I bought it at a great price. I immediately gave them to my mechanic (too much work for me). And OMG! .I feel like I'm in a new car. So soft. If you want to return the previous smoothness, click "Buy".

Installation was easy but the results were disappointing

I bought these for a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT. Installation was easy, but the result was disappointing. The 2nd generation Explorer suffers from a very stiff suspension. These body bushings only exacerbate this problem. Even though the big potholes are so much better with the Daystar hubs, I can now feel every little crack and bump in the road. I'm even considering throwing them away and buying Ford OEM bushings.

Missing instructions

I'll start with the fact that once installed it's quite a comfortable ride. Instructions were sorely lacking, the only thing stated was which mount was up and down, but it also didn't state which side was the correct side. The top fittings are obvious which side goes down but the bottom bushings are hard to tell so I still don't know if I flipped them or not. They also don't tell you if and where pucks are needed. The instructions were the most important thing in my opinion, but it's a very…

Works with minor modification

I installed this on my son's 2002 Explorer Sport to replace faulty factory foam body mounts. The brackets didn't match the 2002 Explorer Sport perfectly in places, such as over the rear axle, which I had to bolster with shims as spacers. Also, I didn't have to replace the front hub as the original front hubs were made of good material, didn't rot and fit better anyway. But all other areas came up normally and blended in with no problems. I will say that using a torch to heat the bolts was much…
