These drivers work great. Obviously, they work just as well as the material they're attached to. I installed 4 on separate panels, 2 on each channel in series. It is very difficult to write a review for them. I think everyone will have a different experience. The sound is definitely different. Pairing with a woofer or subwoofer is required. The sound definitely surrounds you. It feels like being in the middle of a performance. Mine are very loud, it doesn't take much force to be almost too loud. Spent less than $100 total and they sound great. Bought some xmp 24"x 24" panels and rounded the edges. Everything sanded. I painted one side and adjusted the arousals using the 2/5 and 3/5 rule. I've tried quite a few different Dayton exciters for different applications. I chose them for a medium sized DML speaker project using 3mm birch plywood after the 8 ohm flat pack drivers I first tried proved inadequate. They match perfectly the RMS power requirements into 4 ohms with the amp I'm using and compared to similarly spec models they have the best FR look for Dayton specs and the largest coils.
