Great tube amp

Fantastic little amp. Very warm, clear sound. I bought it to play my jazz and it works fine. I use several Wharfedale Crystal speakers and they sound better when driven by this amp than the large receiver I used. I would recommend it to anyone short on space. Fills a small space well. But I'm not sure about the larger area.

The fan is too loud for the audiophile class

Great sound, if not for the VERY loud fan. Not acceptable for an amp trying to be audiophile. I have a Monoprice AB tube amp and it doesn't have a fan. So I had an idea, I opened the case and turned off the fan. The cooler is huge, I don't know why they messed with the fan. I didn't have any cooling problems. Hard to believe that others can't hear the fan. I would give it 5 stars if I didn't have to turn off the fan to keep it quiet.

Sound and looks are great!

I have to say, when the tubes were switched on and glowing softly, memories immediately came flooding back. Then I put on a new record and the sound was great. This is in a small room and listening to pure analogue stereo sound with no DSP processing is something else entirely. It feels more intimate, but the music has full volume and warmth. My turntable is a cheap Audio Technica and I feel like I need to upgrade it to get the quality of this amp. "Bought extra lamps if and when they burn out…

Rough ruined sound from previously great speakers

I screwed up the settings and I don't recommend this amp. Very punchy sound from previously great sounding speakers. I regret selling my Yamaha N-303. I was adding surround sound and wanted a separate stereo amplifier for my Klipsch towers. They sounded AMAZING with the Yamaha and can hardly be used with this amp. Tried with and without the sub. Voices seem muffled. Low is ok but not full. The highs are harsh, not clear at all. I'm disappointed as this amp delivered exactly what I wanted…

Basically a great device

So it looks great sounds great very happy with the device after a month of heavy use. Basically very satisfied with the device. 2 complaints 1 - USB is useless. Why did you add it? Why not use a regular USB input from a media player? Who will use this feature? Even if you did, the controls for it are clunky and out of place. I'm not sure I or anyone I know will drag a bunch of MP3 or FLAC files onto a USB drive for playback. 2. I ordered with 2 AUX but received 1 AUX and 1 phono. I will never…

Powerful amplifier

The tubes appear to be mostly for aesthetic purposes only. The amp itself is quite powerful for its size and power, and can be very loud. The only complaint I had was that all of the dials were completely black, making it difficult to read the levels on the knobs. This is easily fixed by coloring the lines and dots with a silver marker. Overall, the sound isn't bad, with decent speakers (Klipsch) and a decent subwoofer. (Klipsch again). Your neighbors will recognize your house! It has separate…

Just buy it! Great sound for the price

Okay, I've only had this a day so can't comment on durability yet. But I will say that I usually don't leave reviews on the products I buy. But I felt compelled because I love this device so much - I really love this device! The rich sounds it produces are really pleasing to the ear. Santana, Sting, Tom Petty, Chris Isaac - they all sound amazing on it - the guitars sound amazing on this little machine. I can honestly say that listening to my favorite songs on this device is like listening to…

need work on Home Audio

Cool design and nice sound, but as mentioned the fan noise is too loud even in a big enough room. This is odd because other amps with very similar designs (like the various Rockville BlueTube models) don't have a fan. In fact, I've never owned an amp with a fan, and this one kicks in just after you start playing something. It turns off between tracks and then restarts when the next track starts playing. It's distracting. I also had problems with selecting inputs. It would often switch to the BT
