1988 Honda TRX300 fits perfectly and starts great. Happened to read that a 1988 Honda TRX 300 had a 1 year CDI box. I am very satisfied and will order a second one as a backup

Connector not in the same place as in the factory. I had to install the front back so the wires could reach. However, it worked. I had no spark prior to installation, plugged it in and my 1992 TRX 300 lit up right away.

Delivered quickly and my old Honda ATV caught fire. He vomited very intermittently, but I suspected that was the problem. The connector is on the opposite side of the OEM, but that's not a problem. Update: 2 months later he's cheering on my old ice fishing quad. I am very happy with the purchase.

The spark plugs on the right are a little different than the factory ones but they plug in and start straight away I knew I had one after washing new cdi my 93 honda 300 needed and it lost spark, checked the original cdi and in fact it was cracked and burned in the back so it's time for a new one

Satisfied with price, delivery and functionality. Assuming this one will last a few years, I would buy it again when the other one goes away. This is the 3rd (the quad is 32 years old, it will eat occasionally) but I think this is the first CDI from this company. This CDI was installed on my 1988 Honda Four Trex and it immediately solved my no mileage (or start and stop) problem that had plagued this quad for months. I would recommend.

Working on TRX300 for a local couple. After some repairs and carburetoring, her quad ran for about a week. They called me and said it wouldn't start. I looked, no spark. The stator, pulse and rectifier are all fine, as is the coil. Couldn't find any wiring issues or other related issues so I decided to try CDI as there is no real way to test it in detail. I bought this CDI module for my 1989 Honda trx 300 fourtrax 2 4WD. My Honda used to work great, but then it started to work very poorly. I checked all the cables and they seem fine. I removed the front fender and checked all the wiring to the CDI module and any other wiring I could find under the fender. I ran it and it didn't work well. I took a rubber mallet and tapped the CD case and it worked just as well as before. I figured there must be something in the CDI module, something bad, short…
