Starter motor looks good and works great The only problem was that it was too long, a quarter inch gasket had to be made for the dipstick housing to fit the starter motor

I've had an Ultima starter, terry cloth starter and a bakery starter. I've never had a starter like this starter. very powerful I was surprised at how big it was very pleased

I put this on my bike and it didn't work. Considering it's two bolts and tow lines, it's not hard to install. If you know what a bad starter sounded like back when you had to pound on it because it was stuck, then that's what it did.

I was blown away by the quality of this starter. Each starter comes with a performance test sheet showing it will deliver 2.8kW and crank the engine at 1500rpm. With 6 volts to start it's a little bigger than a standard starter but fits perfectly, the chrome is quality, the last starter you have to buy.

Nice install and started well but after about 6 months of driving I noticed my battery pin was melting. After lots of troubleshooting and replacing EVERY wire on the bike, the problem was still there. The solenoid was shorted out and intermittently applied 12v directly to the frame. Powerful motor - shame they cut off the solenoid part.

I ordered this starter for my 2006 FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Clasic and it doesn't fit, the block itself is too long (about 5/8 inch) even though the website says so. was coincidence. Anything else would be perfect. I had to return it for a smaller model. george man

Considering the price (very cheap for a Harley starter) it seems very high quality. Starts my bike every time without hesitation. Those idiots who write reviews about the starter not working have misdiagnosed their problems. I'm no rocket scientist, but if your old starter didn't work and now the new one with the factory test certificate that came with it doesn't work, I'm sorry Ejenstien, but it's not a starter. THIS IS A GREAT STARTER. AT A GREAT PRICE!

I purchased this product based on my needs and the perceived value of this starter. I have a well chromed starter motor that has a completely useless starter magnet built into it. This starter fired my Harley 3 times between four attempts. I have tried to contact DB Electric but they refuse to answer my attempts. .One of these companies will reimburse me for this garbage. By the way, my experience with Harley Davidson bikes spans twenty years building custom houses and servicing factory bikes.
