Can do everything you need in one tool! From making 3D model files to creating BOMs this program has it all right there for me!! It's not perfect but they continue adding new features that make life easier when working with these types of programs so I think eventually we will find what works best out among them as each have their own little quirks here or there. The best thing about DDM for me personally as an engineer was that it had versioning in place which allows us to keep track if changes were made or not. I like that it's easy to use for my small team - there are some minor bugs but nothing major has been found so far in our daily work with this software since we started using about 2 years ago! It would be great if they released an update which was able to handle more powerful versions than 1.6 or any other version from before 2013.
