OEM Honda is ridiculously expensive for a 20 year old car. So I took a chance based on other people's reviews and the price. I actually bought a complete kit for a '96 Civic DX. I'm very glad I did. Drives and sounds like a new car again. No more vibrations and shocks. Just a smooth ride. This rear bracket was easy to insert, no modifications were required. As for durability, I'll have to ask again. Basically I'm satisfied so far.

So it says this part is DEA. I'm not sure how true that is. DEA makes some pretty good parts, but unfortunately this part fell out too quickly. I have a 2000 Honda CR-V and I would also like to point out that I am an auto technician with 20 years of experience. I knew the price was pretty low so I went with the name brand. So be careful buyers, if you don't do this repair yourself I'd spend the extra dough on the tip of the line or the dealer part. Took maybe 2 months!

Installation was a little tricky. All mounting holes lined up perfectly with the car - inserting screws through this bracket wasn't difficult. I replaced all the fasteners on our 2000 Honda Civic DX and it made a huge difference in how the car behaved.
