Type of review

After completing the repair of a Dell 24-3455 all-in-one for a family member and preparing to call them to arrange the return, I decided to turn off the Wi-Fi speed test before i did as i know what it is how to connect to their network. I was very disappointed to find that the included DW1707 standard 802.11n adapter could barely handle 40Mbps on my 400+Mbps network. Typically, a good WiFi card delivers between 200 and 300 Mbps on my network, depending on traffic, weather, and interference on…

Pros
  • finally bought
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Worked Great - Computer Components

My daughter took apart her laptop to check the fan but when she put it back together the wi-fi stopped working (she must have had static electricity when she got it touched). This replacement was perfect - it fits perfectly and works great. And it saved me a lot of money!

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Some Cons

Big. Electronics in internal components

Installed in a Toshiba Satellite C55-B5290 to replace the original (2.4GHz only). It worked great. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Terrible wifi card best inside

I ordered these cards to replace a failed N-Speed card in my Dell 15-3565 laptop. Neither the original card nor the replacement card will work in the 5.8 GHz band. I do not recommend this card to anyone.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works with Linux for network cards

Insert this card into my Thinkpad T480. It works as expected on various Linux operating systems I've downloaded including Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch Linux. It can connect to networks and Bluetooth devices.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Shorter cable than other options

Works with Toshiba laptop

This was added to an old Toshiba laptop that only had 2.4G Wi-Fi. This works great and I can now connect to the 5G WiFi band.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • There are new competitors
