Managed to fix the defective controller and it now works like new - these parts may be slightly better than the original Elite controller.

It's only on the sides, the back panel is another $50 and you need a special torx screwdriver. Save yourself the hassle and just buy another elite controller.

The old handles were easy to remove, these came back straight away. However, the extreme edge of the new buttons protrudes from the controller. I can tolerate it, but I definitely see other people having issues with it. However, I was able to have my Elite controller repaired instead of spending $150 on a new one. Three stars.

Looks and feels like the original rubber grips that came with the game controller. Installation was easy thanks to advice from previous buyers I found online. The cost of the parts seems a bit high, but the cost of a new controller of the same quality from Microsoft seems very high. I'm glad I made this purchase.

Grips are very difficult to fit compared to OEM products. They do not fit flush as stated in the description. I bought 3 kits and all 3 didn't fit, I tried them on 3 of my other elite controllers with the same issue. I tried to see if I could handle their protrusions, but my palm blistered from the protruding edge. All in all, all 3 sets are ill-suited not only for a fancy item, but for a really bad batch or a generally bad product.

mostly work. The rubber grips on my original controller started to blister and fall off, so I needed a new pair. Shipping was fast and arrived earlier than expected which is a plus. The left grip doesn't fit as well, however, as it's a bit too big and slightly raised where the grip meets the top of the controller. It's noticeable but not enough to warrant a refund and negligible during use which is why I kept it.

So far so good, I play a lot of video games with my elite controller and the rubber on the original grips came off and I had to replace them. Unfortunately, this is really the only option I've seen and they don't come cheap. $40 is a bit pricey but it's exactly what I wanted and they are good quality so I didn't mind paying that much.
