I bought this item because it is made of high quality metal. I wanted to use it as a heating block to set the wood on fire so the Batman logo would keep the natural color of the wood. It worked GREAT and did exactly what I wanted WITHOUT DAMAGE to the metal emblem.

Well I read the other reviews and found it relatively easy to assemble and install. I've now mounted them on a flat surface with cup holders in my truck, which may be why they stay in place. Overall they seem like a pretty decent emblem for the price.

The tape provided is poor quality at best. The back of the emblem is open, there is not enough contact between the tape and the emblem. I'm pretty sure it will fall off the car if I use the tape that came with it. But I just need to find a better/thicker band to use.

I bought a shark fin antenna for my car with a sporty appearance package (black rims, tinted chrome etc) and my granddaughter dubbed it the "Batmobile" - jokingly ordered one to see whether it would fit on the back of the antenna. Its contour is almost identical to the antenna and can only be seen if you look closely. I love it because it's subtle.

Solid product looks good, metal all ok. What goes wrong is that the glue doesn't stick to the product's packaging itself, but rather to a separate part that you have to apply yourself. It wouldn't be so bad if the guy didn't have the tiniest lip to put on a strip. Not only that, the glue isn't even as wide as the piece itself. I was going to put four of these on my hubcaps, but they couldn't stay without some modification. I doubt they'll stay in the sidebar for very long at all. Won't buy…
