I use this solar air pump in my greenhouse to aerate my aquarium where I keep goldfish. It has been working great for a few months now, even on cloudy days.

Attempted to use in an outdoor fish tank. It worked for a few days, but then it was cloudy and it didn't start automatically. Louder than I expected. Cloggs easily.

This aerator is a little workhorse! I bought three of these and they all worked very well. With a solid battery charge, you can work all night without switching off. They have three modes: low, high and intermittent mode. If I need more aerators, I will buy them without hesitation.

I keep tropical fish in a decorative clay pot on our porch in Hawaii. This is less than five gallons of water, so aeration is desirable. We live autonomously on solar energy in our home, so any device that requires energy must be solar. This small solar panel is very suitable for powering a battery and an aerator. As expected, the aerator continues to work after the sun goes down because of the battery. Great device!
