High-Quality Replacement DECKER EVF100 for BHD9600CHV & BDH7200CHV Models Review

I ordered a replacement filter but it just doesn't fit as well as the original filter and made the vacuum more difficult to assemble. It used to take 30 seconds to disassemble, clean and reassemble the vacuum cleaner. Now I have to fight to get it all back. The plastic part at the top of the filter is a bit longer and interferes with snapping into place. and there were times when it came loose when vacuuming and whatever I picked up ended up back on the floor.

These are great filters but I am disappointed with the short life of the dust bag. I bought a new Dust Buster about 6 months ago after buying a new house. Admittedly it's taken a lot of abuse, including vacuuming up fiberglass and fine particles of chalk left over from hiring work in my attic and kitchen. A while ago the filter for my Black & Decker HNV215B mysteriously disappeared. After reading less than satisfactory reviews of third-party replacement filters, I finally found this list. The filter fits perfectly (see photo) and perfectly protects the fan from dirt. My Black and Decker handheld vacuums are a life saver. I'd rather have one in the kitchen and in the laundry than a broom and dustpan. MUCH easier to use. These filters are essential. They are reusable, but after a while they become so clogged with dust (even after cleaning several times) that they need to be replaced. If they didn't get dirty, they wouldn't be doing their job.
