Smooth tapered Ipe Hardwood 3/8" wood plugs to hide top side deck screw fastening. Master kit includes 1050 Ipe hardwood plugs, 1050 #8x2" stainless steel screws, 1 Drill&Drive drill bit set & 4oz. of polyurethane glue. Designed for use to fasten hardwood deck boards, patio boards, hardwood siding and other woodworking projects. Use the Drill&Drive 3/8" countersink bit to bore a hole 1/4” to 3/8” deep; insert and tighten screw; drop in glue, then wood plug and flush cut. Be sure to align the face grain of the plug with the grain direction of the hardwood board for a professional finish.

Easy and efficient installation

The DeckWise pre-drilling system is a game changer! As my tests showed, the pre-drilling included in each deck screw ensures a smooth and easy installation process. Plus, the stainless-steel material ensures durability and longevity. The only downside is that it's a bit pricier compared to other screws in the market. Nevertheless, it's worth the investment for hassle-free installation and long-term usage.

I was very disappointed with this product and would not recommend it

The pinion tips that come with this kit are the cheapest junk ever made. We literally broke every tip that came with it in the first hour. I was very disappointed with this product and would not recommend it. Terrible products

Works like a charm once you get the hang of it

The components of this set are well made. Of the 350 screws I drove into the Ipe deck, exactly one fell through when I hit a bolt in the deck frame. The trick is in the drilling. The ipe tends to stress the flutes of the drill, so it is necessary to run the guide about halfway and then pull it back to clear the chips. On the second pass, you start sinking, then unload, and the third pass finishes the hole. Spray the drill with Bostik Blade Cote from time to time to remove chips, but you still…
