Good replacement key for the price

I really like the logos on the keys, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the metal. In any case, be careful when using them on your bike as they bend easily.

Pros
  • replacement key for CBR600RR CBR1000RR
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Works but not perfect

Best price I could find and it works on my 15 year old cb500f. No worse than the original key. Once I plug it into the ignition, I have to move it up and down a bit to rotate it to the "on" position. Maybe it will become smoother over time after the fresh cut of the key wears off a bit.

Pros
  • Replacing a bent key
Cons
  • Almost never

Fits 2015 CB300f with additional milling

First took to locksmith, they cut key, ignition worked but gas cap would not open. On the second visit to the locksmith they pointed out that the gauge of these keys was thicker than my original, they were able to add additional milling to make them work perfectly with the ignition and gas cap.

Pros
  • Chip not included For these keys
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works as it should when cut correctly

They must be cut with a professional cutter. You probably won't be able to cut it at a regular hardware store. However, be sure to ask your locksmith to line up the workpiece with the original at the tip, not the shoulder. The shoulder of my original key is misaligned to the butt end, the locksmith miscut the first blank and lost one of the blanks because the shoulders were misaligned.

Pros
  • Replace the original chip in the key
Cons
  • Out of fashion

EXCELLENT blanks - a bit weak

This is a great alternative for those who want to get a new set of keys for their CBR (or just want to get a CBR key). However, I noticed one thing. flexes a bit on the key which makes me nervous. As racers, I'm sure we all know how tricky a gas tank keyhole can be. While this is great for firing and unlocking the rear seat, I get nervous using it on a gas tank. The key can break off and get stuck there. So use with caution.

Pros
  • Recommended professional duplication
Cons
  • I won't say anything
