A few thoughts. The color is green rather than blue, similar to sea glass, and the shadow color is similar to burlap. The combination of colors and textures gives the lamp a sea feel, just what I wanted. The support team was great and quickly replaced the first lamp I ordered when it stopped working straight away; Replacement works great! Overall I'm happy with my purchase and think it's great value for money.

I ordered two of these and they are exactly what I expected. I had no trouble putting them together, they aren't crooked or wobbly, although it seemed like they might become if I tightened them. The color is between blue and green. Definitely not a green coke bottle like someone mentioned. I think it will go both ways depending on the rest of the setup. The color is so bright that I don't see it as conflicting unless you're really looking for a true blue.

I liked the color - not blue but teal. The thick glass is durable and has a great design. The size is great but the lampshade looks cheap, the burlap has started to unravel a bit at the bottom. Bought 2 and one of these is loose in connection with the glass bulb so cannot be tightened with just string. I've never seen a lamp that wasn't assembled like this. Socket NOT BLUE as described! It's actually GREEN. You'll have to thread the extra wire through your neck, and then when it comes time to screw the saddle in, there won't be a secure connection because the wire will be twisted. Disconnected, unwound the twisted wire, twisted in the opposite direction to get a solid connection at the neck (which didn't work either). Attached to the harp and lampshade, the image tells the story of a CHEAP LAMP I ordered for my new home, EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED!

First of all, you get what you pay for. The lamp is not bad, but the lampshade looks cheap. But for $50 I wasn't expecting good quality. I put a nice tint on it which I kept and it completely changed the look. Second, I couldn't screw the socket tightly to the lamp. It's loose and oh so slightly wobbly. I'm good at tinkering and I've had the lamp socket fit tight enough where it's acceptable but not perfect. Maybe another lamp would have been better, but I didn't want to send it back…
