Total bullshit. A pack of 6 was delivered with two completely broken ones and glass everywhere in the package. I put three bulbs in the lamps and after 24 hours one burned out. It's been a few weeks and today another one burned out. Don't waste money.

I rarely write bad reviews but the first 2 bulbs fell apart anyway. They are used for outdoor lighting. Oberlin Rustic outdoor light above our garage Hard to say if it will last 2500 hours. No, that is not so. Since April 16, we have been using the third lamp for twilight tuning. 6 months 180 days 12 hours = 2160 hours. We still have to get to the first bulb. Terrible product.

These are very unsafe bulbs and probably don't meet US standards. The piece of metal that screws into the socket is so thin that it dissolves in moisture. It turned black, rusted and literally dissolved. They all exploded after a few weeks and when I tried to unscrew them the crumbling metal just fell off in pieces and flakes. I do NOT recommend these cheap lamps.

Edit: I installed the bulbs less than a week ago and they've already burned out. I wouldn't buy them again. Bulbs fit perfectly, work and correspond to the description. I don't know how long they will last because I just installed them. However, the company needs to pack them better for shipping to protect the bulbs. One of mine broke and the glass was all over the plastic packaging they all came in and was all over the place when I took the individual bulbs out of the packaging.

Not the color/tone of the GE bulbs I was hoping for and are now very hard to find. But I expected them to be a little different so I bought 6 to replace them all. Even if the quality is still lacking. The light output is uneven, which is probably due to the fact that the lamp's coating is applied unevenly (matte) and the lamp's details are embossed on the top of the lamp so that they can be seen in open fixtures. I installed 1 bulb and can see the difference in light from the first picture.

Editor: I no longer trust these lightbulbs. A day after the first burned out (after 2 days of use), the second burned out similarly to the first. Inside, both bulbs were obscured by smoke and burn marks. The male threaded part that screws into the socket has turned from brass to blue as if they are too hot. The lights are located in the fan and are rated at 60 watts. Until recently we used compact fluorescent lamps without any problems. I have ordered some GE bulbs for replacement and will not…

Just had a chance to use the fan bulbs I had in stock. Put 2 lightbulbs in and an hour later I felt something "smoulder"! I searched the whole house for the source of the smell. Imagine my surprise when I found that BOTH (and not just one) of the lightbulbs I had just put in started burning like a floor! The metal part of BOTH lamps was discolored and very hot!
