Installation Instructions: Step1. Make sure you clean the oil pan thread area thoroughly, there isn't excess oil around the area or in the threads. Step2. Thread the piggyback plug into the hole, a few threads forward and then a few back. Once the plug bottoms out, remove it slowly and then use some brake cleaner to clean loose thread material. Step3. Use T-socket wrench, tighten the plug with a torque of around 14ft-lbf.

Based on my experience, the installation was a breeze and I immediately noticed a significant improvement in acceleration and overall power. The stainless steel material is top-notch quality and ensures durability for long-lasting performance. While it may come at a higher price point, the results are definitely worth it. The only downside is that it may not be compatible with all car models. Overall…

Rescuer! for engine parts

The 12mm oil plug on my '07 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 was torn off, then someone unscrewed it and the spiral was torn off by an idiot when changing the oil. I ordered this oversized repair kit and it worked PERFECTLY. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Oil drain plugs
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
