Perfect fit for Aqualung Pro BC

This knife is perfect for Aqualung Pro BC which already has sockets to attach this knife. The only thing that bothers me is that I'm left handed so I wish they had sockets on the other side of the BC as well, but that's a design issue of the BC, not this knife!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Quality technology at its finest!

I am a PADI Pro from the Salish Sea and travel the world to dive. What a great sleeve and release design, I have them in three different sizes. I will never buy another style dive knife again. I like titanium's light weight and quality of use underwater. With this knife I got out of two awkward situations, caught in the fishing line.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Empty

Compact, easy to get if you want, otherwise it's on the spot

Excellent knife. It attaches easily to the gearbox and the locking mechanism is simple but effective. It comes out easily when you need it, but it won't come out randomly. After losing my last knife in the surf, I struggled to retrieve this one by pushing and pulling it in different ways - it won't work unless you push it in opposite directions at the same time. I highly recommend this knife.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad

Great knife! As always, the quality of Aqua Lung is top notch!

Excellent knife! High-quality materials! I love that it fits snugly into the jack holes on my BC scuba. Also included was a hose mount that I could use, maybe an SPG. The only reason I haven't tried this is because I don't know how long I'll be keeping SPG in my regulator. I use a wristop computer with integrated air. The only thing I can't comment on yet is how well it holds up in salt water. I've only used it and it's fresh so far. But I'm sure if you take care of it, everything will be fine.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Expensive

Good quality knives.

I bought this knife as a spare to use with a life jacket while jet skiing. I tend to go far out to sea, so you can't be too prepared. That's why I don't skimp on personal protective equipment when I'm near the coast. I wear a certified life jacket with marine radio, personal beacon, whistle, paint kits, strobe light and hand flares. I also wear a helmet and goggles. After another jet ski went under me, if you're willing to save your life with a little more time and a few bucks, it's not worthโ€ฆ

Good attachment system (sort of), mine came with a terrible edge

The non-serrated edge had a large burr and was not sharp. I had to spend some time sharpening it. I installed it on an Aqualung BC using the BC bushings and the "cup nuts" that came with it. As previously mentioned, the case is somewhat flexible. I used 1/8 x 1 inch stainless wing washers on the stanchion prior to installation, ie First I put a flat washer on the bolt. The leg is nice and neatly installed. I used thread lock and tried not to over tighten. I see the walnut shell is not the bestโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Excellent knife, high quality stainless steel

Titanium vs. stainless steel. I originally wanted a titanium version of this knife to ensure it would never rust. It seems silly but I didn't get it because they weren't the color and blade tip shape I wanted in titanium. I had this knife on my BC for about 50 dives, all in salt water. The rinse I did was to submerge the BCD in fresh water as soon as I got home. The knife is also washed as it remains on the BC. Then I hung everything out to dry on our covered patio. I wouldn't take the knifeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • So-so

The knife can fall off your BC and injure the fish

I'm giving these two stars because I can fix what broke the first dive, but if anything else breaks I'll be back to fix it to return it is 1 star. This is my wife's knife that I put in the holes in my BCD bag. Two more knives, which finally got them to the point where they wouldn't close in their sheaths. This one has a different locking mechanism and an easier way to get it than just trying to pull it out of its case. For added protection against losing the knife, I threaded a 1/4" bungeeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
