I don't know how best to describe the shoes but they are perfect and they have the support you need an outsole I really could stop wearing heel inserts tendonitis with them! They look lovely too, got a little scuffed on the trip when I got them and now some socks need work so they can be polished but I'm having trouble finding shoes as I have very small feet , and they are perfect. My son wears shoes 13.5.p. I bought 13 and it seems like a comfortable fit. The pair has a few flaws if you look closely but overall a nice suitcase colored shoe. I'm happy for the money, even if he only wears it once, which is for communion this Sunday. He also really likes them because they resemble daddy's shoes. He even wanted to wear them to school today. I wouldn't let him this week but maybe next week after the special day. I would recommend these shoes. Delivery was quick as promised.

I bought two pairs, one for each of my sons. My 12 year old fits snugly enough that we're hoping he doesn't have growth spurts prior to the event we bought these shoes for.
