I bought two pairs, one for each of my sons. My 12 year old fits snugly enough that we're hoping he doesn't have growth spurts prior to the event we bought these shoes for. On the other hand my 5 year old sits on it so freely we hope he grows faster. And we'll probably still have to double the socks for him to be able to walk around in these boots. Also, the landing of the two is really weird; Where you would normally need laces or elastics for the shoes to snuggle up to your feet, they are just tight and loose making it difficult for my kids to walk in them. The exterior is quite nice, but I would say not worth the purchase price. I would return them
