When the magnet was screwed into the microphone, it exploded into a thousand pieces. I was looking forward to it, but wasn't happy.

Feel happy, learn at a small level to have fun. The magnet is a toy, the microphone is unhooked from the anchorage in the first hole.

Glue won't stick to some plastic parts in our jeep. Expensive for what you get and return. Also cannot be used with other microphones. Some microphones cannot be connected without a certified attachment, which may void your warranty. It's a shame because the concept is good. But the application cannot be used. Much luck.

Bought 1 and it worked so well I ordered 2 more Unfortunately on the second batch the magnets had issues and didn't work properly. Contacted and the company was very supportive and sent repellents with no problems. The new ones have arrived and work just like the first one I bought. Excellent customer service, that's hard to find these days.

The microphone's magnetic plate could not be screwed onto the back of the microphone itself, it wasn't long enough. (I could go to the store but not for what I paid for). In general an excellent mount, deducted a star because of the price. It's expensive for what it is. But it works fine. I didn't use the included screws to attach the magnet to the handheld mic. I used the original black long screw from a handheld microphone to attach the magnet. The base is a bit big but has 2 mounting options. It comes with double tape and has a short screw in the middle. I decided to use double stick tape and attach it to the dashboard. So far it has withstood the summer heat

This magnetic handheld mic mount fits my FTM-300DR well. However, I would wish that the magnet was a little stronger. Although there was an additional screw in the kit to attach the magnet to the mic, I ended up using the original screw on the mic as it is much longer. All in all this is a good product. It definitely makes using the radio in your car or anywhere else much more convenient.
