Outstanding Home Theater Speakers

This range from Definitive Technology is great for home theater and video gaming because it's bipolar and really fills the room with sound. I use four of these along with the Center CS9060, not a separate subwoofer but you can always use one if you like. They produce a very immersive sound field and you can adjust the crossover to your liking. Not my first choice for music, but my first choice for home theater/gaming. Note that they are not very sensitive, A/V receivers will not get the best…

Clear, open sound and real bass.

I bought two of these along with the A90 and CS-9040 height modules to upgrade our home theater system. (I've had smaller Definitive Technology in-wall speakers that were used with an old JBL subwoofer.) After giving them some time to acclimate, I have to say the sound was a huge improvement. Sonic presence, imagery and clarity are exceptional in our medium-sized living room, and bass is strong and clean (I've set the subwoofers to medium and haven't tuned the sound for the room yet). CINEMA SOUND IN YOUR HOME

After several weeks of research I switched from a Klipsch system to 9040 series Definitive Technology (DT) towers and a center channel speaker. I also use the Promonitor 800 series speakers for surround back. Klipsch is good, very good, but DT takes the movie experience to a whole other level when it comes to audio. It wasn't until I saw the speaker packaging that I realized that this was a high-quality product. The speakers are beautifully designed. The 9000 series is a passive speaker system.
