I have long hair and thought it would be good for lazy days to style my hair. Those bows look silly. When I put it on I look like Minnie Mouse because the bow is so big it makes me look like I have huge ears on the back of my head. I won't wear this anymore. They are too big and a waste of money. It may be ok for teenagers, but not for adults. Just my opinion.

The wire, which is slightly thinner than a wire coat hanger, broke in half on the first attempt to twist the hair. Also, the gap in the fabric is too wide and my hair fell out before I could reach the place to tie a bow. My hair is not thin and not very thick. It is long and of medium weight. Once it's on the back of my head the weight of the cable (which is too heavy) causes the bow to swing back (gravity) and it lays down the Cathy Wompus. This is a very cheap item that works now. They were packaged nicely but I honestly thought they were silk and of course they aren't. Actually, it's my fault for not taking a closer look at the description, but they came up in my search for silk hair ties. So I guess I shouldn't blame the manufacturer, but rather the search criteria.

I'm good at doing hair but after a couple of really hard tries I couldn't get this thing to work. The best I could do was gather the hair into a ponytail first and then twist it. It looks semi cute, but then what's the point? The wire is so thick that you can never get it back to its original shape after use. Also, the wire broke and started piercing the fabric after about 3 minutes of experimenting with this thing. (see photo) Do not buy. I was sad. :(

This bun maker is well made and what I really like is the nice quality fabric. I had no problem styling my fine long Covid hair into a very attractive updo that lasted all day. I went back and ordered two more color sets.

You can't make these things work if your hair is perfectly straight and exactly the same length. Otherwise, the hair is just everywhere, and not in "cute beach style" but in messy hobo style! My teenager tried it once, laughed and said wow, older women really buy everything! Unfortunately, she seems to be right! Don't be like me! This is a waste of time and money.
