Good set of dip grips and tips for beginners

First use of dip grips and tips. I've found that I use the G tip most of the time and it's very thin, although a larger tip is fine too. Fits easily in the pen holder, although the very thin nib is difficult to get out of the holder and I have to use pliers (or bite my teeth if I have to, which is probably not ideal). Anyway, the holder is a cheerful sunny yellow color with a cute cat logo - how could you not want to use it?! I took off a star for ease of use because there is a pen and ink…

The best thing is definitely the holder

I found this product amazing. The best thing is definitely the holder; It feels comfortable in the hand, is not too big or too small for any hand size and features a cute cat on its face (part of the Deleter logo). I saw this starter kit and decided to see if I could have a better experience with Japanese springs than cheap speedball kits. Needless to say, these Nikko nibs totally blew my mind! They're stiff enough to create the sharp lines you get with multi-line pens, but flexible enough to create thicker, more expressive lines with more pressure. If you want more expressive lines but have trouble with…

Perfect for Beginners

I wanted to try my hand at the G-Pen so I bought this set as it is quite affordable. I usually work with brushes, so using the G pen was refreshing. First, I had more control over the sketch lines. So far I've only used the G-pen, but it worked flawlessly with the paper I used (Strathmore Sketchbook & Bristol and Canson XL Bristol). Things I would like to know before buying this set: The nibs that come with the set are named Maru, G and Saji (I can't read Japanese) - Works well with ink (I use…
