Underwhelming USB-C Docking Station for Laptops

This product disappointed me in many ways. The USB-C To HDMI feature doesn't work with my computer leaving me unable to project my work on a larger screen. On the other hand, it does pass power through as advertised, so keeping my laptop charged is a reliable function. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this docking station to anyone looking for expanded connectivity options for their computers..

Pros
  • Provides power to a USB-C laptop while also allowing for additional USB-A and HDMI connections.
Cons
  • Some users have reported compatibility issues with certain laptops and devices, causing them to not work properly with the adapter.

January 20, 2015 Edit: I'm downgrading from 4 stars to 3 stars. This product is still decent, but the USB connection seems to be intermittent. As mentioned in my review, my Dell XPS 15 9550 laptop required Thunderbolt driver and firmware updates found on the Dell website (not automatically downloaded) for this product to work with video at all. It now works for video and ethernet (that's what I really wanted it for), but doesn't work well for USB. I've read other reviews that mention USB…
