Before this Dell monitor, I tried Viewsonic and ASUS; both had better performance (faster m/s, better contrast), but even after fine-tuning, the image never looked right (not sharp enough, too blurry). I received the monitor a few days ago and oh my god it was amazing! The first thing that strikes me is how big it is, it takes up most of my desk but looks great. It has a simple design and looks good for $130! The brightness of the screen is just right and the color space is not satisfactory. It certainly doesn't compare to monitors that are a lot more expensive than it is, but that's not what it's trying to be.
