This model has no keyboard backlight. The key is not so easy to see in the dim light. The touch screen is poorly placed. If typing causes the deleted cursor to jump all over the screen, it causes errors / Battery life is pretty short and it just turns off with a brief warning.

Bought as a birthday present for one of my teenagers. He's been playing it since the night we got it. Required to run updates, but that's fine. You helped make my child a very happy 17th birthday.

In this day and age, everything depends on the security of user data. Why then did Dell decide not to allow full disk encryption? (i.e. this laptop doesn't have a TPM. Technically, there is a TPM, but Dell doesn't provide a way to enable it in UEFI.) If you lose your laptop, the data on the drive can be accessed by anyone! It is simply irresponsible of Dell not to enable Full Disk Encryption. The chip is on the motherboard, so why not in UEIF? If the security of your data is important to you…

Worst computer. I bought it from Dell website but for some reason you are not allowed to leave reviews there. About 6 months after purchase it started running very slowly to the point of being unusable. Customer service doesn't help and asks me to pay them more money to fix the problem they caused. I will never buy a Dell again!
