💼 Dell Latitude 5480 i5-6300U 14-inch Business Laptop with 8GB DDR4 and 256GB SSD –Win 10 Pro (Renewed) Review

Bought this laptop for someone to use only for light internet surfing and movie watching. Seems great for that (after I bought an external DVD-RW for $20. Great price around $300.

The Dell 5480 laptop is a reliable laptop. My end users love the 1080p screen and the performance and battery life of a new laptop. I have about 100 of these devices on my company network, they are 2-3 years old and still working.

It was great until 2 days after the 90 day warranty/refund date the sound went away and I was stuck with a laptop with no sound and no help from a salesperson. You'd better go to Best Buy or Walmart. or buy used on Craigslist.

So last year I had to restart the operating system several times. The battery does not charge and now it does not even start saying there is no hard drive. This product performed reasonably well during this return period. I'm so disappointed and lost $650. I use it to drive one of my cars and have found better functionality and reliability in a new 350hp laptop. I hope this saves someone from wasting money on these refurbished options.

The computer is exactly as described and works well so far. A few very small scratches on the hinge. There was a slight problem when receiving the defective charger. Customer service replied to my email the same day and immediately sent a new charger. Excellent customer service!

This is my eighth laptop. Best for money. If you can't or don't want to spend more than $400 and aren't allergic to Windows, you should seriously consider this option. Nothing flashy, durable, reliable.
