Dell P2217 Flicker Free 🖥️ Widescreen LCD Monitor - 1680X1050P, 60Hz Review

I originally bought another monitor from a different brand and unfortunately it didn't work as advertised. The price is great and I love the fact that this Dell monitor has many connection outputs which makes it easy to connect/work with my other devices.

I ordered 2 identical monitors, when they arrived they weren't exactly the same, they were different sizes. One had a crack all over the back of the monitor, the other had the front bezel detached from the monitor. They were not listed as damaged, used or in poor condition, but sold as new, which is definitely not the case. You are damaged!

I like this monitor, the picture is clear, bright, no flickering. I bought it mainly for professional use (programming) so the key factors I considered were 16:10, HDMI connection and no flicker. 90 degree pan, tilt and up and down movements are supported by the stand. I haven't used it for gaming or movies so can't comment on how it holds up. Pros: physical buttons (no interfering sensors). : I haven't managed to reduce the no-signal time before falling asleep, it seems hardwired to 5 minutes.

Like most Dell monitors, this offers good value for money. Picture quality is not bad for this price range and I needed VGA too. The only difference between this and more expensive models are the bells and whistles, like the settings using real mechanical switches instead of touch switches and no factory color calibration. I keep noticing that I'm smearing the screen in the bottom right corner.

Obviously used. The boxes are battered, the display cable is missing. The VGA and power cables are wrapped with rubber bands.

Well, the monitor is obviously used and repackaged. Supplied with a power cable and a display port cable secured with a rubber band and a piece of tape. Year of construction 2018.

drek Clean Drak. Regardless of the display interface (HDMI, Displayport, VGA - which is the worst), it doesn't look very good. It looks like a cheap Dell product. Just enough to see something when it's on your desk, not enough for any actual purpose other than a quick glance. Also, the stand/base makes the LCD shake if you even move the table out of focus, which you can swear they designed it specifically for. If they would have allowed me to use harsher language, I would have.

Dell support was unable to provide a video adapter that would allow me to connect my new technology monitor to my old desktop computer. I had to find the right one myself.

More often these monitors would show up, they are the best! I'm glad I found something from this seller! Great monitor, price is not too bad.!

The monitor received appears to be P2217H, not P2217. While still a great monitor, it's smaller than the P2217 (shorter).
